Breeders who constitute our Club, have all agreed on a common breeding policy: - no sale of kittens under 3 months of age (upon completion of all vaccinations) - no intensive breeding programmes for our queens - no cats kept in cages - new owners obtain a kitten in perfect health documented in a veterinary certificate upon purchase. Information is given on possible problems that may have occurred during the first three months of the kitten's life - all our breeders sell at the same price - guidance is assured after purchase. This permits the new owners to receive answers to questions they might have, we are there to give advice at all time.
Our aim is to promote the breed, therefore we try to participate regularly in cat shows all over France so the public at large can learn about the breed. We also wish to play a guiding role and bring as much information on the purchase of kittens, health, nutrition, upbringing, genetics, etc. to those, private people or other breeders, who have fallen for the charm, intelligence and tenderness of our Turkish Angoras !
For several years our group of breeders has wondered if it would be useful to create a new club for our Turkish Angoras. After having given it some thought, we have taken the plunge. To set up a club is not difficult, but for it to be interesting, it has to be maintained and that takes time, which is sometimes in short supply.
